Workgroup: FCC Revamps: Purpose and Economics

Presented By

Conference: Rio de Janiero 2014

FCC Revamps remove air constraints, add unit flexibility for various feedstocks, improve reliability and increase conversion. Why not include a Power Recovery Train (PRT). Most PRT revamps are too high of capital expenditure (capex) even though there are high benefits in reliability and energy production. A 40-45,000 BPD feed capacity FCC is the minimum size for a PRT. Is it a PRT worth it?

A workgroup is a great forum for sharing Lessons Learned or Best Practices. A Subject Matter Expert speaks briefly about a particular topic. Then discussion is opened to the group.
