Paul Cripps - Ammonite Corrosion Engineering Inc.
The presentation reviews sulfur plant corrosion and how integrity operating windows can assist in monitoring plant integrity and corrosion activity during plant operation. Conventional sulfur plant operations and selected tail gas operations are covered. An overview of API 594 Integrity Operating Windows is provided. Examples of typical integrity operating windows with appropriate high level or low level alarms for sulfur plants are reviewed and discussed.
