New technologies have been gradually improving Delayed Coker operations for many decades. In this presentation, we will focus on the evolution of “flow” technologies on the DCU. What do we mean by “flow” technologies? Well, specifically, this refers to coker specialty pumps and their drivers, Wet Gas Compressors and their drivers, and how flows are measured throughout the unit. We will also touch on techniques that can be used to validate the accuracy of flows and material balances.
