Operator Training Simulators (OTS) have long been utilized to improve the skills of an operational workforce, thereby increasing plant performance, improving plant-wide safety, and ultimately increasing company profits through increased throughput and plant availability. By deploying the OTS in the Cloud, companies are provided more options on how to deliver operator training.
This presentation focuses on a cloud-based OTS project currently being executed by Corys for training of personnel from multiple refinery sites using standard, high-fidelity, first-principles-based models. The presentation shares the cloud-architecture implemented, design features and tangible benefits of the cloud-deployed OTS.
The presentation will include a demonstration of a dynamic, high-fidelity, cloud-deployed standard Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) OTS.
