Jack Buckley - Wood.John C. (Jack) Buckley is currently Wood’s Process Operations Manager for the Process Technology and Consulting group.  He assumed that position in 1998. Jack joined Foster Wheeler in 1981 as a member of the Foster Wheeler Management Operations Limited staff.  Jack has stressed safety in his career and has successfully started up many refinery units without serious incidents or injuries. In the past 20 years, he has overseen the operations portion of numerous Coker and heavy oil projects.  He graduated from the University of Texas in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, and is a Professional Engineer. Jack served in the US Army and worked for UOP prior to joining Foster Wheeler which later became Wood through an acquisition of Amec Foster Wheeler.

 

Patrick Bernhagen - Wood.Patrick Bernhagen is the Director of Sales for Amec Foster Wheeler USA Corporation’s Fired Heater Division. He has been with Amec Foster Wheeler since 1993 and has been in the heat transfer industry for over 40 years. As a member of various API committees for fired heaters, he contributes to the standards development and introduction of new standards. Patrick is also a contributor to the Heat Exchanger section of Perry’s Chemical Engineering handbook. He and his family live on a lake and enjoy all the aspects of lake living.

 

 

Juan Sansiviero has more than 22 years of process engineering experience and is currently Technical Service Manager at Wood since September 2018, part of the Process Technology and Consulting Group (PTAC), providing technical and operational support to Refineries, especially to Foster Wheeler licensed units. In 2016, Juan supported, as FW Process Lead, Commissioning and Start-up of YPF La Plata new Delayed Coker Unit, a successful completion of a project that his team started 8 years before (as coordinator of the Basic and Detail Engineering). Juan joined Foster Wheeler in 2006 and has coordinated many Delayed Coker Projects including grass roots and revamps, comprising technical proposals, feasibility studies, site audits, process simulations, basic engineering, front end engineering design (FEED), detail engineering, project management consulting (PMC), commissioning, start-up and test runs. Additionally, Juan has wide experience in crude distillation unit (CDU), vacuum distillation unit (VDU), gas plants (SGP, UGP), amine regeneration unit (ARU), sour water stripping (SWS), and utilities, achieved in Foster Wheeler and during his six first years working at Cardon Refinery, in Venezuela, as Distillation Process Engineer.  Juan received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Simon Bolivar University of Venezuela, followed by a Master’s degree in Process Engineering from Francisco de Miranda University.
