DCU Furnace On-Line Spalling

On-Line Spalling (OLS) is an operation implemented in Delayed Coker Units to remove coke deposits from the inside of the coker furnace tubes using steam and temperature. Today’s competitive refinery industry forces each refiner to seek technology to maximize profitability. Delayed Coking increases the yield of refined products from each barrel of crude oil processed.
