Deepesh1534, could you give us more details about your problem with the coke cutting system?

We change the drills every 6 month ant the rotor of the Jet Pump every 12-18 months. We manage around 500 ppm of solids.

We are developing some minor project to improve the confiability of the system.

Lucredi, at the cavitation moment, you were operating at typical pressure and products?
If not that could be the cause

    Mike make a great resume.

In our older DCU, we suffer similar problem (but not that often) because of poor fractionation between LCGO & HCGO as consequence of multiple revamp of the Units. When we change the main tower those problem disappear

What do you see at the filters? do yo make any analysis of the at your laboratory?

Coke fines will reduce the pump lifetime, but not probably cavitation. You can check fine at the bottom once per week to make history and try to predicted this kind of event.

Yo could be ok with the foam control, but still suffer upset, check level indication (gamma or neutronics) and also top drum pressure (it usually suffer fluctuation during a foam over)

Leaking of ligther material to the bottom could generate cavitation, how is yours experience with that pump during start up?
