Valero sees no impact from St. Charles FCC leak
NEW YORK, May 26, 2010 (Reuters) – Valero Energy Corp. said on Wednesday there was no big impact from a leak in the gasoline-producing fluid catalytic cracker at its 250,000 barrel-per-day St. Charles, Louisiana, oil refinery.
“There was a leak in an inlet duct at the St. Charles cat cracker that was discovered yesterday morning and repaired the same day,” Valero spokesman Bill Day said in an email. “There was no material impact to production.”
