    By Aaron Clark
July 11, 2008 (Bloomberg) — Valero Energy Corp., the largest U.S.
refiner, said it had a power “interruption” yesterday that
caused a sulfur recovery unit to flare at its Corpus Christi,
    Texas, refinery.
The unit flared between 2:12 p.m. and 2:36 p.m. yesterday,
according to a regulatory filing. The refinery can process about
340,000 barrels a day, according to company data.
