US Refinery Status: Conoco Reports Excess Opacity At Sweeny
DOW JONES NEWSWIRESThe following table lists unplanned and planned production outages at U.S. refineries as reported by Dow Jones Newswires. The information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining sources and doesn’t purport to be a comprehensive list.

Refinery personnel were working to minimize emissions, a filing to Texas state environmental regulators said.BP PLC on Dec. 8 reported emissions associated with a valve malfunction at its Texas City, Texas refinery. It was not clear in the filing to Texas state regulators whether the event had an impact to production.

No units were shut down completely to conduct the work, the company said in early October, noting that there would be no impact on customers.
Nustar Energy LP’s 13,800-barrel-a-day refinery in San Antonio, Texas, will resume normal operating rates by Dec. 7 following a small, brief fire on Nov. 30, company spokeswoman Mary Rose Brown said on Dec. 6.
