Repsol: Spain La Coruna Refinery Coker Unit Still Offline

By Lananh Nguyen Of Dow Jones Newswires
LONDON -(Dow Jones)- Spanish oil firm Repsol YPF SA (REP) Wednesday said a coker unit at its La Coruna refinery remained offline after an April 15 accident in which two workers were injured.
Repsol is still investigating the incident. “We’re still making sure we know exactly what happened and what damage was caused,” said Repsol spokesman Kristian Rix.
No date had been set for the start of the coker, Rix added, responding to local media reports suggesting a restart had been delayed. The coker unit has the capacity to process 1 million metric tons of crude a year.
