Anybody outhere has any reference design values (pressure and temperature) for hydraulic decoking packages to be installed at new Cokers with 32′ Coke Drums? Values should be much higher than other smaller drums given the required cutting time. Are special flanges used (above 2500# design per B16.5)?

2500# flanges are right at the limit w/32′ drums

To meet the required pressure for cutting your 32′ drum you should be looking at using material group 1.2 that will give you the additonal pressure you require to meet the ever shorter cutting time that owner are requesting.

It would not be recommended to use mechanical connectors in this service.
