Oil carryover in sour water is observed. Sour water from MF overhead vessel, is observed milky white(Oil-water emulsion). Boot LT ,HC side LT checked . But no improvement. Also , WGC 1st stage discharge boot , vessel also having oil carryover issue.
What is the probable reason for the oil carryover? What action can be taken now? Our naptha/gas yield is high. MF top temperature is kept 3 deg c lower to increase reflux flow.
