    Nalco’s Latest Water Treatment Innovations Highlighted At International Water Conference

    NAPERVILLE, Ill., Oct. 26, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)Nalco Company, the global leader in water, energy, air and process technologies and services that deliver savings for customers and improve the environment, will make a series of presentations on latest advances in industrial water treatment as part of the International Water Conference (IWC) which opens today at the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas.
    The series of seven technical papers, which will be presented on Monday and Tuesday, detail Nalco’s successes in industrial steam purity, new fluorescence and oxidation-reduction technology, controlling corrosion and deposition in nuclear service water systems, rapid detection of Legionella and auditing a reverse osmosis system.
    Conference attendees should stop at Booth 22 to learn more about Nalco’s innovative 3D TRASAR(r) technology for cooling water and boiler systems and how it promotes sustainable development by delivering energy and water savings to a broad range of industries. Nalco is proud to highlight the receipt of a 2008 U.S. Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award for this technology’s cooling water application.
