Marathon: Hydrocracker Unit At Garyville, La., Refinery Returned To Service
NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Marathon Petroleum Corp. (MPC) on Wednesday said hydrocracker unit 215 at its oil refinery in Garyville, La., had returned to service after an unplanned shutdown on Jan. 31.
The unit was taken out of service to repair a leak and was expected to restart on Feb. 1.
Marathon representative Shane Pochard didn’t specify when the unit came back on line nor would he comment on operating rates. Marathon typically doesn’t comment on day-to-day refining operations.
The Garyville refinery is Marathon’s largest at 464,000 barrels a day.
