LyondellBasell Announces Unscheduled Refinery Maintenance
Friday March 21, 1:15 pm ETHOUSTON, March 21 /PRNewswire/ — LyondellBasell Industries announced today that its Houston refinery is conducting unplanned maintenance on its fluid catalytic cracking unit (FCCU). The unit is estimated to be out of service until mid-April. The 268,000 barrels per day refinery will operate at reduced rates during this outage.

LyondellBasell Houston Refinery Repairs to Finish Late April

April 21 (Bloomberg) — LyondellBasell Industries, a unit
of Access Industries Holdings LLC, said repairs to a gasoline-
producing fluid catalytic cracking unit at its Houston refinery
are expected to be completed by late April.
The unit is expected to be started in early May, David
Harpole, a company spokesman, said in a telephone interview.
The plant has an oil-processing capacity of 287,000 barrels
a day, U.S. Energy Department data show. LyondellBasell produces
polymers, petrochemicals and fuels. -
