INDUSTRY NEWS (Calgary, AB) Alliance Pipeline L.P. says it plans to develop a pipeline and other facilities in North Dakota to transport liquids-rich natural gas to a processing facility in the state.
The pipelines capacity will be 120,000 Mcf per day, and could be expanded depending on demand.
The company said that Hess Corp. has entered into an agreement to service the proposed 79.5 mile pipeline that would connect production from Hess gas processing facility in North Dakota to the Alliance mainline in another part of the state.
The gas will be then shipped to a market hub near Chicago. The gas processing facility has a planned service date of July 2013.
