INDUSTRY NEWS (Dallas, TX) 7/1/2011  Energy Transfer Partners and Regency Energy Partners will spend $700 million in a joint venture to build a 530-mile pipeline to carry natural gas liquids from Winkler County in West Texas to a processing plant in Jackson County, east of Victoria.
The joint venture, Lone Star NGL, expects to complete the 130,000 barrel-per-day pipeline by the first quarter of 2013, the Dallas-based partners said in a prepared statement recently.
So far, Lone Star has received customer commitments for more than 65 percent of the capacity, the companies said. Energy Transfer will shoulder 70 percent of the projects cost, with Regency picking up the rest

INDUSTRY NEWS (Calgary, AB) Alliance Pipeline L.P. says it plans to develop a pipeline and other facilities in North Dakota to transport liquids-rich natural gas to a processing facility in the state.
The pipelines capacity will be 120,000 Mcf per day, and could be expanded depending on demand.
The company said that Hess Corp. has entered into an agreement to service the proposed 79.5 mile pipeline that would connect production from Hess gas processing facility in North Dakota to the Alliance mainline in another part of the state.
The gas will be then shipped to a market hub near Chicago. The gas processing facility has a planned service date of July 2013.
