Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. Wins Design, Construction Contract From Total Refinery Antwerp

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Tuesday it has received a contract from Total Refinery Antwerp to provide design, engineering and construction management services at its refinery in Antwerp, Belgium. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The project involves the design and installation of a new fluid catalytic cracker waste gas treatment unit to remove sulfur oxide emissions. The unit must be operational before Jan. 1, 2010, to comply with new Belgian environmental legislation, the company said. Fluid catalytic cracking is an oil refining process.
