    Jacobs Engineering receives contract from Afipsky Refinery in Russia
    Jacobs Engineering Group announced that it was awarded a contract from Afipsky Refinery, located in the Krasnodarskij Region of Russia, to develop a basic engineering package for an amine regenerator unit, a sour water stripper and an expected 55 tons per day sulfur recovery unit. All three units are part of a refinery extension project which includes a hydrotreater unit and a visbreaker unit.

    Afipsky Refinery has let a contract to Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. covering a basic engineering package for an amine regenerator unit, sour water stripper, and an expected 55 ton/day sulfur recovery unit.
    Capacity of the refinery when the En+ Group sold it to the private NefteGazIndustria Group in 2010 was reported at 72,000 b/d. Located in the Krasnodarskij Region of Russia, the refinery serves local markets.
    Jacobs Engineering said units covered by its contract are part of a refinery extension project including a hydrotreater and visbreaker unit.
    It will work with the engineering firm Giprogazoochistka, Moscow, a specialist in gas treating and sulfur recovery units.

    Update on Russia 72MBD (shown 28MBD on 2011 OGJ survey) NefteGaz group(previous En+Gp/United Oil) Afipsky Refinery with contract to Jacobs for Vis Breaker/SRU/Amine Regen/SWS units as part expansion project for HDS & Visbreaker unit.
     
    Not to be confused with previous 50-70 MBD CJSC (previous United Oil) Antipinsky Tyumen Region wit a 2012 Foster Wheeler coker license / project.
