    Dear forum users,

Currently I am developing my master thesis on allocation methods for hydrogen to refinery intermediates. Regarding this topic I have a few questions and ended up here in the hopes that you could give me some advice or point me in the right direction.

I have a doubt regarding the RHC and FCC processes. Is is safe to assume that the residue does not take up any hydrogen after processing and assume the same for the FCC coke formation because of carbon rejection? I would be grateful if anyone could point me into the right direction regarding advice or literature about this topic.

    best regards!
