    Dear All,
Normally FCC Main Frac Bottom pump has Light Cycle oil as a flushing oil. Does anyone has experience if we use Pump disharge (slurry itself at high Pressure) fluid as a flsuhing oil in the pump? I understand flsuhing oil in pump is put to avoid leaks in the pump.

    Thanks in advance.

How about the particle content of this discharge. I think this is the biggest issue concerning the flushing oil.

    Kind regard,

you can not use the bottom as flushing due to BSW is so high as the hco or slurry oil contain catalyst it will make errosion in pump casing and impller so  we use unstripped /stripped LCO for throat bushing and wearing rings

we are not able to use LCO in our pump as it is leading to lco flashing and pump cavitating. Please let us know how much quantity you are using
