Typically what temperature will a drill stem reach during operation? Any ideas for outside of the drum?

    Thanks!

Some years ago I had the same quetions in my mind and then I cut some drum (pilot hole), removed the drill (pulling up) and then I measured the metal surface, the temperature was between 95 to 120C, but remember this can change depending how is your quenching and cutting procedure
    est regards
