    What means of egress has anyone considered for exiting the top on the structure during fires, or toxic releases, Has anyone installed air packon the structure ,or safety harness for helicopter rescue? With the structure heights being over 300 feet how do think it would be possible to safely climb off the structures? I know some refineries require H2S, SO2 monitors, what other types of equipment are available? I need all of your imputes as I need to justify adding extra equipment for my project Thanks

    In the coker I worked a few years ago, we installed a walkway to the fractionator, so that there would be 2 exits from the cutting deck.
     
    We also considered using the “baker life chute”, but never purchased it.
