AnonymousDoes any coker have fire proofing of the coke drum stell structure upto 7.5 m? Is it really necessary to do so. Please suggest.

AnonymousProvide Fire water oscillating monitor for coke drum structure cooling. Opinion is that no need to do fire proofing of structure members.

In a 4 drum DCU I worked last year, we had two (2) oscillating monitors on the cutting deck. We also had sprinklers on the deck and stairs, and a firewater booster pump feeding this system. No fireproofing.
