We are planning to install Delta Valve in the near future and we are dealing with the feed line configuration, it seems to us that the best option is to use doble feed slightly up180 degress apart. Does anyone have any experience with these configurations? Any problem that you could associate to these configuration?.

    Best regards

    Hi,

Space is your main issue. If it is an older coker, trying to fit a deltavalve and double feed lines can be difficult.

This has talked about at coking.com conferences in the past and deltavalve have done studies on single feed versus double feed with Stress Engineering. Probably a good idea to contact the Deltavalve guys at their R&D department in Salt Lake City or the Stress Eng guys in Houston and they could give more info. Delta has talked about a new center feed idea at the last conference too, and it seems like it might be a good way to go.
