We operate our DCU for 8 years.
The thickness of the quench water pipe has been reduced from 9mm to 4mm.
It ruptured along the weld line(it is not seamless pipe) recently.
After inspection of the damage pipe, the root causes of the thinness of the piping seem to be attributed to the bacteria and deposition corrosion.

Any DCU plant has such experience?
