What is the best API seal plan choice for a charge pump based on reliability and safety?. We need to upgrade our old charge pumps and would like to know the most common seal plan used nowadays.

    Thanks, RI.

    API 32A/52B/62.

Are you getting new pumps, or just upgrading the mechanical seals ?

Specific to our situation where we have fine hard particulates in our feed we use a plan 32 primary flush and a plan 62/65 secondary steam quench.
