Here is update from AP/Argus – Hyperion Grassroots SDakota Coking Refinery still planning but delayed 2015.
Hyperion SDakota has been race with Yumma Arizona Grassroots refinery since both announced their plans and even though the state, local residence and demand supports them – the Liberal Environmental groups blocking construction for over 35 years has prevented them …..thusfar.
As these projects (Hyperion was once dubbed “Gorilla project) are delayed/held in the planning stage (+4years now) they are going to hit real problems as refinery consolidation gains traction against non-economic & small, simple US refineries which are going thru next stage (along with rest world on capacity).
