Here is update on Sinopec Gaoqiao coking refinery/petchem expansion. Gaoqiao produces a green anode petcoke currently (~380 kmtpy) but with the expansion and new pipeline delivered crude will be soon making fuel coke. This is similar to what is happening to recently announced Maoming coking refinery (2 cokers – but not clear if expansion will require addition) and also the Sinoped Anqing anode coking refinery (~360 kmtpy).
The Gaoqiao refinery expansion much like the Maoming does not mention a coker unit expansion but most China Refinery expansions do not mention cokers even when they are being added/expanded.
