Here was news article on Russia-Sinopec new JV China refinery @ Tianjin.
The new Rosneft/Novoil & Sinopec/CNPC JV Grassroots Tianjin Refinery/Petchem should NOT be confused with the recent Saudi-SABIC & Sinopec JV Grassroots Tianjin Coking Refinery that had startup in ~Dec 2009, or the older / original Sinopec Tianjin Coking Refinery.
No news if the $5Bln JV refinery will have a coking unit – would be unusual if it doesn’t since earlier cheaper Saudi JV $2B refinery @ Tianjin did. Anyone have recent news about a/the coking unit from FEED or Planning stages?
