RE: CHS Coker tears up concrete

Looks like the $325MM Montana CHS coker is on schedule despite some concrete re-pour decisions, which was good call on CHS part – the external conditions in Montana with potential for -60F temperatures without a wind chill factor puts stress on structures that other regions don’t have to contend with.
The coker will make 800 TPD and be online by Jan 2008. This will mean all 3 refineries in the Billings/Laurel area have cokers and perhaps alternate feedstock for PRB Minemouth Power Plant YELP an alternate source. But this article claims the plans are to rail and export the petcoke in West Coast / Seattle.
