The main objective of this research is to develop an inspection and mechanical integrity assessment methodology on coke drums as a case of study. The Available inspection tools or techniques were used in this study. An inspection plan and mechanical integrity assessment were developed involving Laser Scan, Equipment Health Monitoring System with Straingages and Thermocouples, Remote Visual Inspection, Industrial Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particles Test, Penetrant Test and Critical Crack Size determination. The Inspection results were validated with the developed methodology, being able to identify main degradation zones and prioritizing critical coke drum zones. This methodology turned out to be effective; however, it is subject to improvement.
